I got a poem published but it got me fired. My boss thought MY BOSS THE CHLAMYDIAL SLOB&CEO WANNABE was about her.  Ain’t that some shit.  Now I record my poems, send ’em out to Patrons and my email list, over 700 strong.

Tour got smoked in so I rescheduled, but not so fast. I haven’t missed a gig in 34 years and canceling isn’t in the lexicon.  Aren’t you supposed to work until you bleed, stop to stanch and smoke and get right back in the ring?

Maybe but I’ll be playing at Fergie’s on July 11 and anyway offering a tight 20 of poetry and Stand Up Tragedy™ in Hostile City. I’ve been a fool for love and Art my whole life but there’s a bad side. If I at least liked my own company I wouldn’t have to cane it to 12 cities with a new collection every year, now would I?

MUSE was roundly rejected, with one editor asking me to “take the cat out,” but not on your life Bubba. Some people say making the same decision, again and again, and hoping for a different result is insanity, but fuck them. I call it devotion. I’m devoted to you Good Subscriber.
